Product Description
tesa HAF® 8490 is a single-sided, heat-activated tape used for high-level bonding requirements. The heat activated adhesive tape is used for bonding thermal-resistant materials such as metal, glass, plastic, wood, and textiles. Another main application is single-side butt splicing. The tape is made up of a nitrile rubber and phenolic adhesive, with a cotton fabric backing. High resistance tape tesa HAF® 8490 is activated by heat, only reaching its ideal tack at 90 °C. Once the tape has hardened, it offers superior bonding and adhesive strength, and can withstand many chemicals and high temperatures.
