Product Description

The universal polypropylene-based packaging tape tesa® 4089 is the ideal sealing solution for lightweight cartons of up to approximately 20 kg. Whether used with a manual or automatic dispenser, tesa® 4089 is easy to unroll and apply. It has a high elasticity with an elongation at break of 150%; therefore it is extremely tear-proof. Due to its natural rubber adhesive, the tape adheres strongly to polar and non-polar surfaces, and has a high tack to various surfaces, from paper and wood to plastic and foil. tesa® 4089 packaging tape has a total thickness of 46 µm and consists of a PP-backing with a thickness of 28µm, in combination with a natural rubber adhesive, a primer, and a release coat.
