tesa® 4848 is a surface protection tape, designed to reliably cover and protect large areas against dirt or damage during painting, plastering, or facade work. The surface protection film withstands chemicals, abrasion, and moisture. Furthermore, tesa® 4848 can withstand environmental factors such as temperature and UV-light, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor applications. The tape is made up of a PE film backing and a strong acrylic adhesive system, which ensures a strong hold on polar surfaces. The backing prevents a "darkroom" effect when used on windows. After usage, tesa® 4848 is easy to remove, even when left on the surface for four weeks.
