Product Description

tesa® 4939 is a double-sided cloth tape used for temporary textile floor covering during instances such as fairs, events, or renovation work. tesa® 4939 is primarily used for screed, mastic, and epoxy-sealed floors. The flexible PET-cloth backing is and hand-tearable. The tape has a short-term temperature resistance of up to 80°C and a long-term resistance of up to 40°C. The cloth backing is coated with a tacky synthetic rubber adhesive which requires only a short dwell time before reaching final adhesive strength. The tape has different adhesion levels on each of the sides. The synthetic rubber adhesive features excellent adhesiveness to various surfaces like PP, PE, or EPDM. tesa® 4939 flooring tape can be removed without leaving dirt or damaging the surface after use for up to 14 days.
